SCAM Female Asian voice telling me she is from "my telephone supplier's call blocking service" I asked her who was my suppier and she just responded by asking me to confirm my name. I then asked to wait a second so I could check this number but by then she had terminated the call - i dont think that BT would have done that........ Location - Kent

This number called me after hours a few days ago. I did not recognise it and it came up 'unknown', so I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I cannot locate the number on the web to see if they are a valid company.

Sounded like Indian call centre but hard to hear as automated message over the top which was giving options to press 1-2-3 etc, asked caller to say again and she hung up. Probably a scam.
I received a email claiming to be virgin media 6/10/22 claiming to be BPO a debt collection agency for collection of outstanding balance I'm a bit dubious about this
a text claiming to be from npower to fit smart meter to an address 200 miles away from me..... text back to confirm, change etc . A dangerous scam, texting would cost a fortune....
