didn't answer phone flags it as potential fraud and reports the number. Get the same call every few weeks, normally some foreign person telling me about how I can get home repairs from the government. Told them last time I lived in a tent, and they put the phone down on me. Don't answer.

They ve been phoning me twice a day for almost a month looking for someone I ve never heard of. They obviously have the wrong number but keep on trying. The first call is always around 10.30am, the later one can be anytime up to 8.30pm. It s an absolute disgrace!

Try to tell you that you are entitled to compensation for injury, mis-sold PPI, etc, etc but then start fishing for information as they don t actually know the first thing about you apart from your number and a few other details.

I got called by this number by a company claiming to be switch2web, claiming to be London based but with this false number. I?ve had a string of such calls from numbers all over the uk but clearly originating from India. I suspect they got my details from a domain name registration, but don?t know for sure as so many uk companies use Indian call centres whose staff steal customer details and sell them on. I hang up on any call from an Indian call centre these days as they?re pretty much guaranteed to be sca
