They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". I have been called 3 times by this number today. It is highly irritating as I drive a lot. No one there when I answered the third time of them calling. I called back to a recorded message with an American accent saying This number is out of service . My guess is that they are testing to see if the number is in use and you will get a load of marketing text messages once this number is answered or called back which I recommend you do neither.

Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

yeah British Gas chasing slightly over due accounts. Ignore and change supplier British is ridiculously expensive.
