SCAM / SPAM Openreach scam - recorded message that the Internet connection will be cut off, push 1 for operator. Indian(?) 'technician' then tries to get you to install TeamViewer QuickSupport so they can presumably compromise devices. Managed to keep them on the phone for 15 minutes so they couldn't scam someone else!
PPI call - not sure of the company or their name

Fraud
They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. Recognise a Scam: Unsolicited Call They associate themselves with ‘a good cause’ It's a limited offer . Claims of the backing of a respected organisation No money upfront Nothing in writing REPORT THEM

This person has whatsapped me a few times in the middle of the night just to say hi. I live in South Africa and do not know him at all. Today he whatsapped me again and even called me! I blocked his number and am trying to find out where he got my number from. I definitely do not want to be friends with him.

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up
Someone with an asian accent trying to speak to the quottreasurerquot to see about an energy deal for our charity Then pushing for a name and personal details of an employee to speak to and a personal email address Given the run around and they got annoyed so hung up
