Recorded voice HMRC Tax Scam
Random call from this number, resulting in an out of plan bill charge.
This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

Told me I was nearing the end of my Vodafone contract and was getting a new phone, asked him "am I really? Cause I just got a new phone in November." and he said "on my screen it s saying you are but I ve had a couple of people say it was wrong-" hung up half way through the sentence. If it was Vodafone it would have come up on my phone.
