scam calls / harresment don t respond to or by giving your name or any personal information

Caller asked for me by name, saying he was from Forte Healthcare. I didn t confirm my name, but I did say that our number is ex directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and that he shouldn t be calling. He said that our number would be removed from their lists. I terminated the call by stating that I would report it to the Information Commissioner. By other comments on various forums, definitely untrustworthy.

Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. hello all same thing happend to me but i got though to the number in question. they claim it was all some computer error relating to tiny comuter accounts. all very convenient how many people will not have notests. i have been told that they have been trying to contact afected coutomers but when i ask why i was not contacted they did not have an awnser and had my name and adresse. total scam that shows your money is not safe in the bank

A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!
