Had some strange tapping on the other end but no one there! Hung up!

Think this is a scam call, asked me to press 1 to speak to adviser.

I have no idea who this was

This woman knew my christian name and had my mobile number.She said she was from "unintelligble" life insurance. I hung up on her. 5874c

I could not make the woman out very well. She said she was from Waterfront something. I was at work and had no time to ask any further questions. If I look the number up it is from a restaurant called Sea Fish.

Caller asked for me by name, saying he was from Forte Healthcare. I didn t confirm my name, but I did say that our number is ex directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and that he shouldn t be calling. He said that our number would be removed from their lists. I terminated the call by stating that I would report it to the Information Commissioner. By other comments on various forums, definitely untrustworthy.

CALL CENTRE PHONING ABOUT CAR ACCIDENT. PHONE SEVERAL TIMES A DAY FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS. WON T SAY WHERE THEY ARE FROM. HARRASSMENT.

Have been ringing me for days and finally caught me out when I answered. Said their records show they could save me some money on my mortgage! Bearing in mind I’ve just tied in to a fixed rate with a completely different bank to see how and told them so, then he asked what I’m paying in insurance premiums and when I said I’d really rather not say, he just hung up!
