I ceased to be a customer of isupply on 14th May 2016 and am awaiting a refund on basis of confirmed final reading. Why then did these people ring me on 18th June asking for an electricity meter reading? Seems suspicious especially as the asked for some personal details. Told them they could have the reading and nothing else. Didn t remember I d changed suppliers until after call ended.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. They also will get you to buy their software for $100 USD (not sure how that works out in UK pounds). If this has
