10/03/22 at 10.37am. I answered with hello. A man said; "I'm fine and if somebody has complained about me I'm fine. Goodbye" He then hung up. He sounded angry. I have no idea what this call was about. To-date (in the 27 years I have had this number) I have never had a 'wrong number' type of call, as far as I am aware it is not similar to any local business/official numbers!
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

This number called me but i didnt pick up, i called them back and then they didnt pick up. i relised the number has whatsapp so i was bored and went and checked too see who they were as they would have a name. the name of the number was 'haroonfahad42926' i made a note of this and blocked the number, not just on normal call but also on the whatsapp. a day later i got a text from a different number on whatsapp and there account was called 'haroonfahad42926' again. the account was a buisness account but wa

One of those well known scams pretending to be your child having broken or lost their phone, now using a friend's phone, asking for money.
Automated call SCAM Answered, nothing but silence from the other end. They hung up on the call after about 10 seconds.

SCAM A recorded message saying the call was from Legal Assist. Went on to say that all the consultants were busy and asked me to hold on. I hung up of course.
The number you have dialled has not been recognised. This is the message when I dialled 0116 488 2506.
Sales call the second I have had in 2 days despite being registered onTPS. Said they were in my postcode area and that I was on a list for having out of date loft insulation and wanted to send a man into my loft! Rang off when I said that was inconvenient. Polite but persistent.
