SCAM Unknown caller. when dialed there is an exchange message "The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again." This seems to be occurring more frequently. It is now possible to make calls from another number look as though the call is coming from somewhere totally different, for example a call made from a Glasgow number can seem to come from London. Be wary. This experience happens on calls from 01506 674749 to 01506 674752 inclusive.
Ask the company for their company registration number and insist that they give to you and there VAT number

Caller insolently asked me 'How are you today', before telling me I was registered with a paying Amazon service and asking me if I wanted to cancel it!

Claimed to be changing out my sky viewing card and offered me a discount as a new pensioner. Wanted banking details which made be suspicious and gave this number when I said I d call them back. Turns out to be scammers.
