Who called me
Had a similar call. Told them yes, I was involved in an accident with car Reg N 0 DDY driven by a man with big ears and that PC P. Lod dealt with it. Kept myself amused for about 10 minutes with a convoluted story before giving up.

Just had a call from this number (6.50pm). I get several of these dodgy calls a day - usually early evening, after 4pm - so now I no longer pick up the phone unless I know who is calling. If it is a genuine caller, they ll leave a message and I will call them back. All 0843 numbers appear to belong to scammers/spammers.
Left voice mail - said about legal action but not where from etc - recorded message? Have not attempted to call back - but cannot find any information on the number

Dangerous fraudulently claims to be a buy your home agent. But asks wrong questions, appears to be trying to get details on a third party. Apparently uses a credit checking database to get details of people who might know the third party even remotely.

Called today on this (Neath) number claiming to be Geoff from o2 ...in broken English, with a very strong accent and barely understandable. When I said it was a very bad line he cut me off and called straight back on 01382 858017 (Dundee, Scotland). When I asked him how he could call me from both Wales and Scotland he hung up.
