Got a call from these cowboys claiming to be from BT regarding my internet and IP address. It's worth playing along with them if you've time to waste, then say you'll contact BT directly and they just disappear!
SCAM claiming that if you ignore it it is a direct violation of the magistrate or something. Nothing legitimately legal about it. Did not listen to the rest so could potentially be asking for my life savings or something.

Robot voice called claiming that my NI Number has been identified as "suspicious" and has been linked to a number of crime activities. It then went on to say something along the lines of; "it's very time sensitive to...". I hung up at that point as I expect it was going to give me details on how I can either hand over all of my personal details or pay a fine or whatever.

I get a call from this number several times a week which is just silent on pick up. This is a little worrying for the elderly person in the house. I am registered with the TPS.
