Rang me after 6pm when I was at work. there was no one on the other end, could hear some background noise and then they hung up

SCAM First they said that they were this company Network Security, so I put the phone down. Next they rang back and said they were from BT. So I put the phone down, next they rang back and I was threatened with the police as I was supposingly helping hackers, so I told them to do it and I will tell them about these calls. So I blocked the number.

Usual call centre noise, caller said she was from BT offering discount on my BT account. When I said I don't have a BT account the line went dead. Seems like a scam.
