Call to my rarely used mobile at 1812 on Weds 03 May 23 Caller Karen asked for me by name and went on to ask about my life insurance Very noisy call centre in the background make hearing difficult Told her not intersested and hung up Same number also called at 1742 on previous day not answered and shown as missed call
part of a wider scam to sell al sorts of financial products
They said they were from Amazon and I had a £900 transaction taken from my account he asked me to follow his instructions ( I did know it was a scam) I told him ok he said to put him on loud speaker and he was going to give me a 9 digit code to enter into my phone, I asked him if he could call me back in 10 minutes when my daughter is home as she works for the police he suddenly hung up. I have passed the phone number on to Amazon but I’m worried about the people that they do trap please don’t give any one

This telephone number appears to be from Microsoft about a security breach. Microsoft tell me that it is NOT from them, and is a scam.
They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.
