PRANKDIAL.COM. It is not from an app, but a website. Hence why it is always the same number. It is someone you know who is putting your number in and they can hear your conversation with the machine!!! I had this done to me this morning. They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).
