I had 2 calls from this number supposed to be from BT tech. First from an male at 9am then a female at 9:30 both from 02833610015 I did not give them any information and just hung up. I get a fair few of these calls. The next one will be a "will you take part in a survey" so they can find out who your service provider is, then pretend to be them.

Chasing people who have had car accidents

Flipping nuisance and they seem to have bought a whole bank of numbers that are the same apart from the last two, three or four digits. I am hoping that I've blocked nearly all of them now lol

Told the caller they were cold calling and they hung up. Then rang another 4 times on my mobile. My landline already has a block on it

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. There are more similar numbers

Called landline twice on 28 June 2017. No voicemail left. Got No. from 1471. Returned call only to receive a voicemail stating its a call from my local Lloyds Branch and that they will call again. I am waiting for this call again (IF it comes) and hope to play the caller for what it is worth. Will also let the Police know but not sure they will be willing to do much though they have the number. Perhaps they could establish WHO has issued this number to whom and take it from there. Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. And why would they have the same message in Chinese as well?Fraud

Called me to say there was a fraudulent payment from my account I wasn’t sure as had few such calls in the past Told them I appreciate it but I would like to call the bank myself to verify and he happily agreed Either it was genuine or he is very good at pretending but turned out the latter
