A phishing call, the caller had a little information, but was phishing for more. I ve been informed that limited accident is publihed on a database by insurers. I Presume they are phishing in order to action a claim. Personally I beleive these people are leeches, feeding off, and promoting the greed is good culture. The caller will tell you that he is trying to help you, he isn t - he s helping himself. Any positive response is like catnip to these people, even if you tell them you are not interested

Had an unsolictored call from this company a few days ago. Asking about a car accident, I asked the woman for her company name. She said "Richmond Knight Legal". She said she is looking into an accident that I was involved in, and that there is about £4000 set aside for me as I was the victim. Please log all such calls with the Claims Management Regulator on 0333 200 110, as they are building up cases against such harrasment companies. Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!
