Another automatic call threatening to proceed with a criminal case if I didn't press 1 immediately.....hung up and didn't finish listening to the rest of the message... Second call of this nature in a week on different numbers....when trying to message them back to tell them where to go the message was blocked both times.
Two similar numbers called me this week : 01916712918 and 01916712919, so I assume these belong to some call centre, not interested...

Obviously a number that is 1234567890 would be highly suspicious. This number from Bedford, UK tried to call me twice this morning. I declined to answer the first time and the number called me back immediately. I did not answer for fear of being charged a fee. Furthermore, I live in Singapore. A SCAM CLEARLY. Just had a call from this number; very british names, indian accent. Claimed they were from HMRC, gave me ID badge numbers, the full monty. Told me I had an outstanding debt that had gone into coercive collection, that there was a warrant in my name just about to be issued (today!), but that if I cleared the debt immediately, the action would be stopped. Call supposedly from British Gas asking if we were in the following day so engineer could check our appliances under the protection plan. I said I didn t think I had appliances covered, the caller said No you don t, it s to check your boiler I then said I din t think the check was due for another 3 months at which point they hung up. I note from answer machine that the same number called again later the same day. Suspect it is some sort of scam
