Information I think this for Liverpool Road Dental in Stoke-on-Trent. They usually do a curtosy call to remind people of appointments.

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. These people have attempted to contact me on numerous occasions & are SCAMMERS/FRAUDSTERS claiming to be from the FINANCIAL CENTRE, a platform where Bitcoin is traded. They Stole approximately $50,000AUD from & there dodgy schemes & investments, they also stole in excess of $100,000 from a friend of mine. If anyone knows of these turkeys, please advise & i'll be happy to fly to London & destroy them.

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Automated call saying two unusual payments form my account (did not say which account!!). Told to press 1 to approve payments or 2 to speak to someone. I hung up and blocked the number.
call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.
Call center - asked for me by my first name, then silence, then line went dead. I called back from a landline number and there was recorded music.....
They called me saying they are from a company called “blockchain” obviously a scam

Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.
