SCAM Caller would not identify herself or the "company" she was representing. Most likely a scammer.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM Call says they are from the housing disrepair centre calling about the problems i have reported. Except i haven't logged any calls for repairs. They call constantly and wont stop, they just hang up and call back later.

This number called me, an automated voice said that it was customs and revenue and that I owed tax. I hung up before the message was finished.

Oriental lady, very hesitant, claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Used a local number to us, but unlikely to be a Virgin Media number. Rang off when told not a Virgin user. If a valid call would have had initial details available

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!

I replied and said it was raining in London, to which he said that he likes rain so it is fine. I called him a liar, he hung up. Scam.
