scam ppi cold callers! They say its free but then they say they take % plus tax of your compensation if any. I would advise people if they want to pursue ppi to do it themselves without these shark companies that take half from you for almost no work

Called my 94 yo father, claiming to be HMRC and accused him of defrauding taxman since 1952! Fortunately my dad is sharp as a pin & told them to go away and procreate. Calling the number back results in a diversion to a non UK ringing tone which does not answer.

HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.

Pretending to be HMRC telling me I'm under surveillance and have a law pursuit against me and if I didn't reply something will happen. Left me shaken and scared. Have phoned police to make them aware.
