Was called by this company re a minor RTA I had a few months ago and was told there was a pot of money waiting for me if I proceeded with a personal injury claim. FAke! Try to get you to check out your computer, they have just moved numbers. They get you to a remote connection to you system, then charge you ?157 for deleting temp files and clearing your eventviewer log. SCAMERS- Avoid! Tell them you do not have a computer!

The caller was an automated voice claiming to be the HMRC. I was told that legal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and that I needed to press 1 on the keypad to get more information. Instead of doing that, I hung up and logged into my account online; nothing of the sort has appeared on my account, so I have to assume this is a scam aiming to get personal information from people

called several times on different o2 numbers each 10 minutes apart on xmas eve saying that they were amazon on line support all automated voice absolutely scamming calls
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Scam saying there PayPal said I had 2 unlawful payments go out and wanted me to confirm then they sent texts apparently from the bank but looked nothing like it .
