Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Yes sometimes it's an Asian person, sometimes it's an English person - I'd love to know how you know though that they're muslim! Just because you can't call the numbeer back doesn't = scam.
