Reports elsewhere suggest it s the tired old "home appliance insurance" scam.

Calling constantly with different numbers. They ask me about my prepaid meter. I don t have one, so I think they are calling randomly. Sellers.

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. DO NOT SAY YOU ARE THAT PERSON --- From now on, my first greeting to any caller would be questioning them. Now I may get even more spam calls by giving out that they have valid information. Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
