Seems to be another number related to the RSPCA - check them at http://www.rspca.org.uk/home - but this number seems to be used by a global call centre working for multiple charities, and the bad thing is that they share the database of numbers, so can call you not only in the name of RSPCA but also some other non-profit org. Can somebody confirm this is RSPCA number?

Had a call from a Castlegate finance from London talking about frozen pensions. Told them I wasn't interested and not to ring me again. Caller gave a sarcastic reply so I hung up. Lady from a loud call centre claiming to be from BT Openreach....I strung her along for a bit...she wanted me to open pages on my internet so she could fix the slow connection that I (hadn't) logged with my ISP. Got a call from this number, as I answered the phone they used my nickname which was very odd. Proceeded to say that I had two friends who had been recently and recommended me, one of whom I hadn't heard of but the other was a close friend. Listened to the promotion she had (she was very polite), I asked for an email address/website to look at as well as the lady's name (which she did not provide) so she told me I had to book over the phone. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre.
