0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. SCAM / SPAM: BT Scam! Asian sounding female called from a call centre, asking for me by name. I deliberately answered the phone in German, which made her hesitant. She said she was calling from 'British Telecom', and asked for Mrs **** again. I asked her who she was, in German, and she ended the call abruptly. When I did 1471 to get her number, it said 'Please Hang Up' which makes me think this is a spoofed number. Incidentally, I no longer have a BT phone line.

Recorded SCARE TACTICS to get the unwary to buy a new boiler. No such thing as a compulsory assessment, nor is it required by 2017. Unscrupulous company trying to sell boilers. Do not be taken in with their nonsense. Block or ignore it or better still flag it up here.
