Just had a call from this number asking to speak to my husband, about his accident. I said what accident and she hung up on me. Looks a local number to us with 01445 code. Obviously a scam

Woman asked if I read the Times or Sunday Times and then started to push subscriptions. I left her hanging for a while until she hung up. Like the other person here, hope I'm not going to be charged for it!

1/03/2017 I spoke to consultant NINA ... at 09.52 on the where she said that she would find me some renewal prices for my business electricity supply along with checking that I had not overpaid during my current contract. During that conversation, we recorded a consent contract to allegedly to give her access to my current account history so she could see if I had overpaid at any point. SCAM - felt like it would be a scam / fraud call as purporting to be HMRC and a warrant would be issued if I didn't press 1!

I was in a different room but heard a voice coming from the phone. How can they do that? The voice had gone by the time I got to the phone and I was too far away too hear what it said, but I have now blocked it as no one I know would do that.

They have called me three times now, they have my name and number obviously trying to sell life insurance, Very persistent and would not take no for an answer so left him talking to to himself!

SCAM / SPAM Claiming to be from O2 payments and asking people to enter card details to update payment method.

No idea who the company is, but they use a ''mobile'' number first 079698977868, you will notice this number is 12 digits and not the standard 11. They use this so you answer, granted they give you the option press 5 to speak to someone or 9 to exit. Press 5, you must press 5 and get them to ring you, that way you can have a go for unsolicited calling! These companies are vermin and need to be shut down!

Fraud

Hmrc scam call. Says you'll go to jail if you don't pay. Never give bank details or payment details over the phone.
