I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. SCAM Thiks was a recorded meesage claiming to be from a 'bank security' firm, stating there had been two unlawful Amazon purchases from my bank account. I hung up at this point, and checked my bank account. There had been no illegal activity on my account. Beware of this number and messages on it.

After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

This is a number local to me but I assume it has been hacked as it was a recorded message purporting to be amazon concerning an order I hadn't made. Scammers doing what they do best.

Called around mid day to say my bank account had significant withdrawals and said press 2 to talk to an advisor. I suggested they did something physiologically impossible!

Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

Scam exceptionally aggressive Micheal Masterson (suspect not his real name) bitcoin salesman who said to a female, quote "I'm recording this and all your calls, you are not even a human to me, I'm going to report you to the financial industry standards, you dickhead, do you want me to report you for not answering my questions?" I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.

Call starts by automated voice thanking me for the purchase of an Iphone for over £700.00 via amazon and then telling you its coming soon and if you did not make the purchase to enter details. Clearly a scam as I did not order anything. My Amazon account is not compromised. Just evil scammers trying to get your banking details. Beware that number!
