Said they were from amazon, and my membership expired an l have been charged £95, press 1 to speak to someone. Scam, not got Prime membership
This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

Silent call telephone 01216636185 - phoned my disconnected mobile which still allows incoming calls. I answered the number and they disconnected. Phone number is located as a landline number based in Birmingham!

Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. Called claiming to be o2 but definitely not. Scam call.
Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

SCAM - a text saying "mum I've smashed my phone"
This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.

I'm not even living in the UK and the phone number I got called on is a Dutch one which I do not use very actively. I didn't answer but it's safe to assume that ignoring this number is the best course of action.

This number rang my wife,s phone on 21/06/2022 .The number rang out three times and then hung up. A similar number +94938591709 rang my phone the following day 22/06/2022 and rang out three times and hung up. i believe they are suspicious numbers.

01387404015 Missed call but notice from reviews that is yet another Accident Assist Scam. Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? He immediately went into "what phone are you using?" Obviously looking to sound like he could choose an upgrade whilst scamming you out of the cost of the non-existent
As with the previous callers, a text message about unable to deliver a parcel. I've blocked the number and deleted the text.

Call with lots of noise in background, claimed to be from 'Phone house company' I think, hard to make out. I hung up due to not recognising this name.
‘This call is from HM Customs & Excise regarding non payment of tax. You will be prosecuted blah blah blah’. Then invited to press 1 to speak to an operator, press 2 for payment. Could be worrying if you’re unaware of the scam. I just disconnected.
