Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I believe the email I received regarding a BT bill is a scam like several previous ones as the address is not a BT one. This is the phone number quoted in the email.

rang 4 times today but I let it go to answer machine, no message left, each time I`ve done the 1471 and its Laithewaithe`s presumably trying to sell me more wine. I placed my first on line order with this company just before Christmas (36 bottles of wine) 4 days after Christmas I got a call from them trying to sell me more, which I declined. They have pestered me 3 or 4 times a day almost every day ever since.Aargh!!! pass the wine somebody!!!
