Called this morning, did not have my details but claimed to be from Openreach. Wanted to discuss my internet connection - I don't have one with Openreach. Do not give these guys any information, you will probably regret it.

SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.

Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

Fraud This number was given to a very vulnerable elderly friend of mine for her to confirm a transaction on her debit card. Fortunately her bank did not sanction the transaction. The number is for a hotel in Vietnam!

Claiming to be HMRC SCAM

SCAM...Pretending to be from O2 giving very convincing and accurate information and asking for more to be provided by you, be careful.

Instantly hung up. Seemingly has a full inbox when called back from withheld number. Likely scammer.

Automated message about fraud, claiming 300 charge on amazon and 1300 on international order, etc.

Saw it was from a Barbers and picked up. It was from a mobile company. Told them I wasn't interested and they hang up.

This phone number belong to Russian Girl who is a Fraud and She is currently being hunted by police due to Substance smuggling, Women Trafficking. She is often getting close to people to get their attention and easy money. After that she will disappear without trace. If you read this please report to London Metro Police and Immigration. Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Claiming to be from EVRI about a delivery fee and failure causes parcel to be returned ...... "Now follow link ..." in aggressive bold print ... I'm not expecting any parcels and certainly not ftom EVRI ... who or whatever they are! Suspect this is a SCAM.

Call center SCAM – Indian caller, very hesitant English – evidently calling from a very old sucker list, asking for someone who moved out years ago

Scam pretending to be 3 network

SCAM / FRAUD Called me about personal injury claims for an accident that never happened and demanded my details.

Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. The moment I said that we bank with NATWEST not HSBC, he put the phone down straight

We were called by this number to say that £300 had been spent on amazon and over £1000 had been spent on an international transfer. They said to press 1 to allow those transactions. We hung up.
