This is old story - this number is used by some "insurance company" - they check databases of car accidents and try to call you with offer of 'unclaimed compensation' for a car accident with some money set aside for you, but in most cases this is as usually fake to make you tell them your personal data... I was tokd to f**k off when i answered a number from this number.
Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. Caller informed me they were from the UK Financial services and I was entitled to money from a loan I took out in 2006? When pressed on what bank they told me Lloyds and I've never had a loan or bank acc with them so they hung up!!! Could be a scam or just PPI.
