A chap called Jamie called to update our tariff, saying he was from E-On, but didn’t have our bank details. This is odd as we put all our utilities on standing order. Even stranger as we don’t have an E-On account! Didn’t have a chance to challenge as he left this message on our answer phone.

Received a call from this number, answered but no-one spoke. Decided to stay on the line to see what happened. Complete silence for about 30 seconds then the line went dead. When I 1471 d I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this? The number is obviously NOT out of order when they call me but it is when I call them? Of course it s a scam and, as usual, there seems to be no recours

Received a text msg today from 80870 asking what do I think about my recent experience of their Outpatients Department service at my Hospital, which I won't mention. Well, as I am visiting my Hospital for treatment at the moment and from what I read from other reviewers here, it does seem to be genuine and Free. I got a call from this number and they were obviously trying to get personal information from me. First they asked me to tell them who I was to confirm my identity (even though they claimed to know who I was because they were calling me!). Second they told me that I needed to complete a verification process online by going to a specific website on my computer. The page they told me to go to sounded like a scam and they were trying to get me to fill out more personal information.
