A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.
I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.

Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.

This is a scam number as they have called my house phone number today saying my bank cards have 2 transactions going out,that are not recognised, little do they know my house phone number has never been given to anyone apart from my sister in law who lives abroad as we don't use it we use our mobiles. So this would not be linked to any of our banks, and its an auto mated message.

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated
