This is a scammer's number. They claimed to be from EE accounts department to say my last 2 payments have not been made via debit order and could I press 1 to update my account details. He was very insistent that I do it right now or my account would be closed my phone cut and costly penalties incurred. I hung up as I am not and never have been with EE.

Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I immediately asked her the name of the energy company she worked for. She immediately ended the phone call. Obviously a scam.

He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.
