This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. These people rang me and tried to scam me. First by saying they were talk talk. And the second time they said they were BT. They say there is something wrong with your internet then they try to get you on a computer or lap top to begin trying to scam you. Don t fall for it they ALMOST did it to me but I was lucky to realise they weren t legitimate.

Had a missed call from this number, no message left. As it was a local number to me, I thought it was genuine, so I called back. I received an automated message about "PPI and checking that you have already claimed it back". No idea who it is, but am blocking this one. A new low for the telemarketing companies to use numbers that seem to be local to you.

Received a call from this number from person with Lancashire accent said he was from HYA. When asked who was HYA he said the company dealt with taking card payments. When I stated I was not interested he asked 'Why not'. I realised it could be a scam to obtain bank details and cut them off.
I answered said hello and silence. You could hear office type noise in the background. Said hello a second time around 5-10 seconds later and still silent the other end then they hung up.
