Rejected the call (made from London to my personal mobile number in Dubai!) on basis it was a scam/cold call and hung up. He rang again and shouted at me to google his company. I did and there is a Financial Conduct Authority warning about them. I complain
didn't wait for them to speak - they addressed me by an incorrect name that is on some marketing list somewhere.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12179005xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, trading on-line (also reported from different countries - international call centre). Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
