I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.
Fraud. Caller was automated message saying it was from Visa and that several payments to China had been blocked. I was to then press '1' to be put through to the Visa fraud team. I don't have any Visa cards.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.
