Had this number call me 4 times in 2 days. No message left. Can’t answer the phone during work so don’t know what it’s about. Wouldn’t mind but this is a new phone with a new number.
Said they were from Microsoft about my computer. Microsoft dont do calls like this and this isn't their number. Got annoyed when I said they weren't from Microsoft. Definite scam attempt

SCAM Dangerous Number. This is related to Microsoft scam who will tell you there is an issue with your PC, gain access and then wipe out your bank accounts after locking you out of your computer. You then get further harassment calls from them trying to "give your computer back" so they can gain further access/exploit more cash from you. Key targets are older or vulnerable people. Be safe.

SCAM - Repeated many calls from 01733 806--- numbers, block each time, they just change the last three numbers and try again. getting very many calls daily from Peterborough, I am sure if it was THAT urgent they would leave a message. This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
