This phone number called me and as soon as I answered the call was disconnected. I not from the UK but I recently visited Manchester, I hope there is no problem from this call.
Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.

SCAM, Tom is extremely harassing. He will call you and keep calling you until you pick up the phone. He makes you feel pressured into buying electricity with him. Not a friendly service, not a friendly man, almost feels like a scam and dangerous. Block his number because he will be extremely persistent. Asking me how much I currently pay (I am with 3 and said “if you are calling from 3 you would know that information”) he said they don’t have customer details in the promotion department!!!!!! Definitely a scam! I’ve been called by them before. Male with Strong Indian accent.

I ask my name and she didn't know my name from the app , I told to check the app and after to tell me my name , and she tell me different name . I don't know what I say but I blocked .

Received a call today (25.01.23) stating I was being investigated by HMRC and to press number 1 to speak with an operative. I just did nothing and the call was ended automatically. I'm guessing this was a scammer! Blocked of course.

I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

SCAM- LAdy with a strong asian accent claiming my amazon account had been used to purchase an iphone 13. When I questioned her furher, she hanged up.
This recorded call is allegedly from "bank security" about suspicious purchases. Oddly, they don't mention which bank!!! Ignore, must be a scam ????♀️

A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
