The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.
SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
