⚠️ Scam call ⚠️ Indian call centre scammers. They will claim to be calling from O2 (if you tell them you're not with O2, they'll change the story and say they're calling from your network provider/carphone warehouse/some other lie). They will try to solicit personal information and bank details from you. Hang up and block the number!

Missed call, rang the number, it rang twice then said server not reachable. Blocked and deleted.

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. I kept talking to them to waste their time and then eventually told them I’d be reporting them to police. She tried to convince me still they were legitimate. Most probably a scam, as they claimed to be paypal, but paypal never called me and i suspect if theres something they want to find out, it wont be a machine voice. Be aware!

TAXES / HMRC - recorded message with female / American accent stating from HMRC and asking to press options - very obviously a scam.

Heavy Asian accent, claimed to be from Citizens Advice Bureau. Asked me how I was today, I said I was fine except that my leg had just fallen off. Strangely enough, he hung up. Obvious scammers, blocked and reported.
