They call from this number if you have had some free pet insurance for them. For instance, I got four weeks free insurance for my two little kittens. Three weeks into the free period, they contacted me to find out if I want to continue it. I already have our other three cats insured with them so I was happy to add them all to the same. Seems quite reasonable for them to contact me when I had free insurance from them. Have used petplan for years and they have always been decent.
