Difficult to hold a sensible conversation, transpired person wanted to make a case for selling wall and roof insulation. Not needed but difficult to close a conversation with caller who isn't listening!

3rd call I've had today from automated spam callers. Each time I answer the call but don't speak and within a couple of seconds the line goes dead. Number blocked again until the next one

UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). SPAM We are ex directory, with TPS, and call safe. 02045713455. Female called Jess phoned. Said she was from Solar Energy, and asked if I was the home owner. I put down the phone, and blocked the number. We also had a missed call before.
The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.
