I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. I am going to contact ofcom and ofgem to see if they can do anything regarding this business as the manager I spoke to called me an idiot as well as F****ng hitler. Pretending to be HMRC and noticing me that there is a tax evasion case on my name. Then the operator asks for my name. It is obviously a SCAM! I did not give them any personal details and she hung up. I also didn't call back. Be careful and alert!
Called six times 13th April 2023 during the course of the day from late afternoon right up until 19.27hrs, no messages left, we don't answer our landline, just for broadband and anyone that knows us will call our mobiles, so expect this is some sort of sales call or scam, blocked it, definitely don't wanna be talking to anyone from Vietnam, Binh Dinh, really, unwanted nuisance calls!

This contact number is Business Energy Compare and telecommunications Group. They are a trusted and compliant company based in Morecambe, Lancashire registered with companies house and handle business energy services, including telecommunications

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
