2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..

Missed call - Suspicious On 3rd May 2023, whilst out, they called twice within 1 minute. Then had a call from 07504642947 1 minute later - So probably linked to 07464414224 / spoofing numbers.
Pretty decent automated recording asking about loft insulation.
SCAMi have no idea of who or why I would receive a call from this address or area, they were silent upon answering this call..

Nothing to worry about. A fireman offered to install smoke alarms in town the other day & left them at my door as I wasn't in, and just wanted to check that I'd got them okay & if I'd installed them. Really good considering it was free.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. I asked where my data came from he said "UKRI" (United Kingdom Insurance Limited) about whom he gave a lengthy description. I advised him that I wished for all of the data he held about me to be erased as per GDPR and DPA's right to erasure, he seemed surprised an I told him this was because it was all false
