Hard to understand person, strong foreign accent, claiming to represent O2, yet calling from a number on the Three Network. Lots of background noise, sounded like either a VERY busy foreign call centre or an open air market! Seemed at a loss when asked for proof that she really represented O2. Possible scam.

As yet I haven't received a call from this number but during another call from 01252 710611- most definitedly a scam regarding Amazon Prime - I was asked to call this London number to veryify my account. Naturally I did not . Hope this helps.

I received a call from this number 01793 540172, claiming that he is from EE and that there is a promotion going to reduce my monthly mobile bill and again he phoned up with another number 01997 617576. I checked with EE and there is No promotion at the moment. they are scammers.
Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. I've just had a call from this number and it is a genuine number from Nationwide building society, They were calling to update me on a problem I had reported.
Recorded message saying it was Amazon and that they were going to debit my account by £79.99 renewal. If I disagreed with this then press 1 to speak to a manager. I'm not with Amazon and number now blocked.

Just joined START RESCUE, they rang and left a message asking me to call back to discus my plan. Cannot see any reason to call them as my plan has been set up and is active as paid, i think more likely they want you to take out other policies with them, not ringing back.

Continuously keeps trying to contact me. Starts an automated voice, explaining something to do with an emergency alert not being set up on my phone. Probably a scam, definitely block and ignore.
Got a call off this number saying they work for council repair team and they say av got alot of repairs to be done and to be honest I don't live a a council house it's private, he put phone done. Then within 30 mims later rang again and said they are debt collectors so I told him to make his mind up what he wants to be and get a proper job. A#$&holes them

This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.
