01218873871 Phoned asking me to confirm I had recently been involved in a car accident. I hadn'the so asked when accident occured. Ignored my question and again asked me to confirm I had been involved in an accident. I knew this was a scam and just put the phone down. Why do they do this?

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!
