They claim they work with suppliers associated with your company and state they want to work on a big project with you and your supplier. Obviously a lot of Google bashing goes on before they phone you. They refuse to speak to anyone or tell you anything unless they re speaking to the owner / managing director of the company. this humber calls my mobile every afternoon about 4.30. Have never answered as I don t recognise the number. Now know it is a telemarketer and glad I didn t answer! What a useful site.

Trying to collect for a cancellation fee on an insurance company. Complete jokers. Just ignore/block them. They will never follow through with any threats - they just rely on intimidating people into payment. They will even offer you discounts - a clear sign they know they re not entitled to any money.

I am calling on behalf of the Local Government Grant Scheme". I asked if he was from the local government, and he said yes. "Which local government?" I asked. "Nottinghamshire," he replied. I asked for his phone number, and which department he worked for. He gave this number, and I said this was not a Nottingham

Have been called repeatedly by this number over past 2 weeks- they left a message on my answerphone saying "So you wanted to know about bloody contents cover". I called it back and wanted to make a complaint, but they wouldn t put me on to a manager and said they would call back again!!

I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.
