Introduced himself as Peter from Telephone Preference Service. Asked if I was getting nuisance calls? So I told him he was one. But Peter continued unabashed and asked again and said I needed to register to stop these calls. So this time I said I did not want to stop them as I enjoyed the conversation. He asked if I didn't want to have them stop. But I again repeated that I liked them. This succeeded in confusing him immensely and he could not think what to say - haha Basically a complete scam - beware.

ive been trying to call the number back all morning but it just goes to voicemail .. i was naturally very concerned and wanted to deal with immediatly - due to lack of response - i did a search on the numberand saw all these people reporting the same problem. absolutely awful way of scamming and fearing people

Landline from London area. There are few similar numbers reported by more people (or searched on these pages) so I assume they all belong to the same call centre - 0203 695 3 806, 0203 695 3 265, 0203 695 3 242 - note that only the last two/three digits alternate, which is common for call centres to have some range of numbers dedicated for their business. Did someone received some offer from those or similar? It can be some good service, but I am a bit suspicious when seeing similar numbers calling the sam

I received a call from this number saying my washing machine was out of warranty as I consider warranties are not worth having due to so companies going out of business I never take advantage of them plus the appliance was brought years ago, I consider it a bit late plus I always check a number out once the call has been made and considering there is no record of it, it has got to a scam caller :-)

Man with a very strong Indian accent, told me he was from Citizens Advice and I could write off 70% of my unsecured debt, Told him I didn't have any and he asked me if I was sure and was I sure I didn't have a bank loan or a car loan!! I think Id know that.

I answered their unsolicited phone call once and told them I wasn’t interested and put the phone down. Then the same person called me back on a private no wanting to know why I had put the phone down-told him I wasn’t interested –again an

I am fed up of calls from this number and they try to use almost blackmail tactics to engage in conversation, for eg so I guess your mortgage is paid off then is it ha ha! Not nice but I end up simply putting the phone down.
